Disney Flash Back Friday

Welcome back everyone to Disney Flash back Friday, hosted by Magical Days with the Mouse :-) I'm going to post a short post this week. I don't have a lot of pictures stored in my photobucket, but I will make due with what I do have...

This picture was shot before World of Color had is opening. We were walking along the pier towards Screamin' and i stopped to snap this pic. The reflection is cut off by the World of Color technical wizardry lol. I would like to retake this same shot, but with the platform submerged so the entire wheel has a reflection.

Thank you for visiting my Flash Back Friday, and please, follow the links to view the other flash backs. Everyone loves receiving comments!  Thanks again :-)

Disney Flash Back Friday :-)

Welcome back to another edition of Flash Back Friday, hosted by Magical Days with the Mouse.

Sorry I missed last weeks post. It was a long week for me, and was in a rush to head home Friday night. I completely forgot to blog....

But alas, I am back, and have a picture that I just happen to snap about 7 years ago, while looking at Sleeping Beauty Castle.

I didn't realize, how dramatic the dark cloud looked until I had developed the film and looked at the picture. The gloomy cloud over the castle really gave it a different feel. I was proud of my picture LoL. I'm not normally a "good" picture taker, I leave that to my wife.

Well that's it for this weeks Flash back. Please follow the links to visit the other Disney Flash Backs, and thanks for reading mine :-)

Disney Flash Back Friday

Magical Days with the Mouse blog hop Flash Back Friday....     (sorry my netbook is having issues posting the blog hop button)

Hello everyone! Its that time again, for Disney Flash Back Friday :-) Sorry to say, but this weeks flash back was not fully researched much...I started a new job (after a 6 month job search) and have had to adjust to a new lifestyle... I am living with my parents during the week, so that my commute is only 15 minutes, rather than an hour from my home. My wife is looking for a place to live closer to my work, but in the meantime, we have to live apart. I miss my boys, and my wife, but this is a short term sacrifice that must be made in order to benefit my family. It has been over a year since we have visited Disneyland... We miss going, the entire family loved going. I have a lot of new Disney friends, that I have not met yet, and want to venture the park with.

Well getting along with my flash back, I perused my Photobucket account for pictures. I found this night shot of the California Adventure letters and entrance. Since the entrance has been redone, I figured this would be a nice flash back to use.

I remember taking this pic, late one evening after the parks had closed. I told Jenny, I wanted to test out our new camera's wide angle view. I'm glad to have this shot now, I took it well before plans were announced to begin re-construction of DCA.

I look forward to seeing the new changes to both parks. I am a huge Star Wars fan, so Star tours 2.0 is calling me so bad! I even had Chad from Days In the Park, purchase a R2D2 popcorn bucket for me before they were sold out. I am also very anxious to finally watch World of Color... I know its weird thinking such a Disney fan, who used to go at least 2 times a month if not more, has not seen WOC... but yes its true. LoL

Please follow the blog hop and check out the other Flash Back Fridays posted. Leave comments and maybe post your own Flash Back. Until next time, enjoy, and please share my blog with your friends.

Disney Flash Back Friday

Welcome back to Disney Flash Back Friday, hosted by Magical Days with the Mouse.

This week, I take you back to April 29th, 2009. Our newborn Josiah, was 1 month and 6 days old, and it was time to take him to Disneyland for the first time!

Of course, the little guy passed out on the way, and slept even after we entered the park.

First stop was the Mainstreet City Hall, to get Josiah his first time button. We also grabbed Eli a Disneyland Honorary Citizen button. We made sure he felt included in his brothers first trip to Disneyland.

Jenny took some good park scenery shots while at the park. She was waited while Eli and I rode some rides.

Matterhorn Mountain

Rivers of America

Haunted Mansion

Space Mountain

On that trip to Disneyland, we also met Ryan, the owner of Original D at the park. He ventured around the park with us, and rode the rides with Eli and I. Josiah was able to ride 2 rides, Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Eli on his favorite, Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters

Eli riding Star Tours (yes before the refurb)
Eli snacking...
Of course the little one has to eat too lol...

Eli riding Haunted Mansion

I will end this flashback with a few pictures Jenny took of us , while on our way to the park.  She caught a really nice picture of herself. She is beautiful!
Me driving, wearing my Dad's sunglasses

Great Shadow effect!

I would like to thank everyone for Blog hopping with me. Please go to Magical Days with the Mouse, and hop with all the other cool blogs! Great memories are being shared.

Disney Flash Back Friday

Welcome to Disney Flash Back Friday, which is hosted by Magical Days with the Mouse. this shall be entry number 2 for me, and I hope you enjoy.

My flash back memory is when Jenny and I took Elijah, our first born to Disneyland.

Eli is a strapped in and ready to hit the road to DISNEYLAND!

At the time, Eli was just about 1 and a half months old. My sister was having a dance performance at the park, and we all went to support her. So not only was the memory of my sisters performance special, it also marked the first trip for Eli to Disneyland. My parents even bought Eli his first Mickey Ears hat. I am a big Pirates fan so they hoped he would follow in his dad's footsteps...Which he has! He loves his pirates as well :-)

Keeping with our tradition at Disneyland, we decided to take a picture in front of the Christmas tree on Main Street. It was a cold November evening at the park, so Eli was pretty well bundled up.

This is Jenny holding Eli. He was a heavy sleeper (and still is) so he slept through most of the day.

And here is me holding Eli, and yes he is still asleep lol

This is Eli and my mom. I must have taken the picture because I neglected to include my mom in the pic lol

This is my parents holding their first born grandchild. They were excited to take him to Disneyland for the first time as well.

I hope you have enjoyed my Flash Back Friday! Please hop around to the other blogs and check theirs out too.

Disney Flash Back Friday

Welcome to Flash Back Friday! This blog hop is being hosted by Magical Days with the Mouse, and I am excited to join in on the fun. I look forward to reading new blogs, and welcome new followers to mine :-)

This weeks photo was taken Mid December, 2005. Jenny and I were unmarried and kid-less back then, but we were already avid Disneyland enthusiasts. We had made it annual tradition to take, and purchase a Christmas Disneyland Picture. Normally we take the picture in front of the Christmas tree on Main Street, but this year we had gone into DCA and liked the decoration set up on the Golden Gate.

I chose this weeks picture because of the recent removal of the Golden Gate Bridge in DCA. We welcome the changes to the main entrance, but will miss the look of the old entrance. We have not been to the park in over a year, so all the new changes will be a site to see.

Thank you for joining me on my first blog hop. Come back soon to see what else is in store....
